I always like to photograph fish. They are really beautiful creatures, swimming gracefully in a tank... But it is quite difficult to take a good capture of fish. I would like to give myself a new challenge this three months, I would like photograph all kinds of fishes.
I went to a aquarium shop last weekend and took many photos of fishes using my Nokia cell phone. Most attempts to photograph fish end in frustration at the fish turning or swimming away at the last moment, always avoiding that one perfect shot... and sometime the fish doesn't move, all hide behind the fillers, or a glare or reflection on the tank itself makes the fish almost impossible to see. I think it sounds silly to others, I photograph fishes with my cell phone. Ha ha, :) my friend, a photograph expert, said it is impossible to take a good image of fishes with cell phone…But I still keep trying…
So here are some of my photos. I wish I could make a better capture next time.
I post some of gold fishes (the last one is not gold fish, I am not sure if it is parrot fish) here to participate the great photo meme Ruby Tuesday, the sweet hostess Mary having a RUBY TUESDAY GIVAWAY. She will give away these Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much Blocks as below:
I love these three pieces burgundy and ivory blocks, especially the featuring three favorite traditional sayings "Live Well, Love Much, Laugh Often". Wonderful words which I always try to remember in the real life, although it is difficult sometime.
Well, a few more aquarium photos below, thank you for reading my blog, and don’t forget to take a look at Ruby Tuesday meme, wish you good luck to win these lovely gift. Anyway, I like to visit Mary’s blog even she doesn’t have this “Give away”.

Hi G.L, you did good with photographing those red fishies. Yes, I believe you about it being hard to capture a fish swimming. I still have to get a good picture of a lightening flash, that is hard to do also.
Happy RT! If you peek in on mine you will see that a baby in a swinging swing is hard to capture too.
But I DID IT!
..
Hi,
I really love all the pictures you've posted. Good shots and interesting.
Wonderful photo of the fish, thanks for sharing.
What great photos! They're so professional looking in the composition.
My R T is posted. Scroll down below my Tuesday's Heads or Tails...it's eerie. Also, there is a new trick or treat treat for you on my sidebar if you'd like to grab and run with it!! CLICK HERE
What stunning fish, great shots!
Fish are hard to capture. You did a great job. Love their expressions.
I think the photos look great for being taken with a cell phone!
