Bishan Park in the morning

a nice view in the morning, at Bishan park
Bishan Park is a major park in Singapore, the riverine park is situated between Bishan and Ang Mo Kio housing estates, along Ang Mo Kio Ave 1, not far from my office,  I like to take a walk in the park early morning just before office hours...
  the reflection is beautiful
 and just so peaceful
I posted a photo 2 years ago when Bishan park was still in working process
Compare the water in above 2 pictures
fish can been seen clearly
The water quality in the ponds and river is maintained, without the use of chemicals, by a cleansing biotope located in Pond Gardens. It consists of carefully selected plants which filter out pollutants while absorbing nutrients from the water.

the lovely and lonely benches as usual
One of the highlights of the park is the stretch of Kallang River that used to run in a concrete canal but is now a naturalised, meandering river teeming with life.  This river brings park users closer to the water to enjoy its beauty and serenity, and to appreciate the flora and fauna that flourish in the park because of the waterway.

my old post about Bishan Park is here
and there are more to explore in this park: flowers, pond and
will look for my favourite heron in another day...
