These lanterns were hung at the Chinese Temple near my house. Lanterns are used widely in the Chinese Lantern Festival , also called moon cake Festival which is on the 15th day of the lunar month of August. That was a big day in the old time, but now the day is only important to those moon cake manufacturers. I forgot that was Moon cake Festival when it was fall on Wednesday last week. :) I saw these beautiful red lanterns decorated the culling of the temple…
