Eastern Fujian-style architecture
There are a cluster of ancient residences', which can be dated back to the reigns of Jiaqing and Tao-kuang of the Qing Dynasty. Why are they called Stone Houses? These ancient residences' are built of stones. Besides, roads, streets and lanes are covered with cobble stones. The narrow and winding stone paths make the Stone Houses look like a labyrinth. Today, the Stone Houses are conserved as a scenic spot. It's an enchanting place for travelers to explore and trek on the stone roads interlaced among the Stone Houses.Filed Neatly
