During one of my visits to the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, I was welcome by one of these monsters not far from the entrance.I was attracted with its shadow while it was slowly crossing the walk board...
and back to bask in the mud
...another monitor lizard was sun bathing on a bamboo platform in the water at the entrance to the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, the lazy lizard just laid there while many other visitors snapping photos of it.
I am amazed at what a great model your lizard was for SSS. He gave all kinds of interesting little shadows. He gives me the squiggles, but his shadows are great. Nice guy and a great post. Happy SSS. genie
